Dr. Ehab Shawky Ahmed is a Ph.D. holder in Science from the Faculty of Science, Cairo University, and holds a Diploma in Business Management from Cambridge College.

With over 30 years of professional experience in Egypt, he has developed extensive expertise across multiple sectors through his work with governmental and non-governmental organizations.

His academic and professional background enabled him to successfully manage the Chemical Industry ETP under the TVET I Project, where he established a strong network of partnerships with key national stakeholders, including:

• Industrial Training Council (ITC)
• Ministry of Education (MOE)
• British Council
• Chambers of Industry
• NAQAA
• Technology Colleges
• GIZ

He also collaborated with several international organizations, such as:

• Implemented a wide range of initiatives aimed at enhancing education and training in the chemical sector, aligned with labor market demands.
• Served as Director of the TVET II Project (EU-funded Support to TVET Reform Programme under the Ministry of Trade & Industry), where he:
  • Supervised and implemented over 50 studies in mapping and Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
  • Managed EU service and supply tenders
  • Oversaw planning and execution of projects related to:
